Scallywags Sept 14th

Parents please note; there will be NO Scallywags class held on Saturday Sept 14th. Notes were handed out on Sept 7th, but please pass the message on if you know others that attend on a more casual basis. We do have a note on our FB age also. Welcome to our new Senior Coach

We would like to introduce Hayley Brice-Nicolson. Hayley was born & raised in Chrictchurch, she started her gymnastics journey at the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. She attended University in Dunedin and taught mens gymnastics at the Dunedin Gymnastics Centre during this time. Intermediate Schools Gymsport Festival

MIGS will be hosting the Rotorua Districts Intermediate Schools Gymsports Festival this month. All Schools are invited to enter students into this event through their schools Sprots Coordinator. The festival includes Gymnastics, Trampoline, Mini Tramp & Tumbling. There will be medals and ribbons awarded. One school will be presented with the Intermediate Schools trophy for Best Sportm

Term 3

The Term has started! We still have a few spaces in some classes, so if you are interested in joining your child, please contact us to see if there is space available. Scallywags class

Hi Parents, Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to continue running the Scallywags Yellow class held on Wednesdays @10.45am. Friday 5th

Due to the Midlands Senior Mens & Womens Artistic competition being held this weekend, there will be no classes held on the Friday 5th due to the gym being set up in preparation for this event. We have 2 more competitions coming up back to back that we need our amazing Volunteers to help with . Midlands Senior Artistic 6th & 7th July followed by Northland Champs for Trampolining 12th-14th. Enrolments for Tem 3

We are taking enrolments for term 3 from now till July 12th. General Gymnastic Class Term Fees need to be paid at the time of enrolment to secure the space. All payments to MIGS must be made by EFTPOS New enrolees must complete an enrolment form, available from MIGS Enrolment forms are needed for Classes that have Concession Cards also. MIGS ARTISTIC COMPETITION

We had an amazing turn out for our Annual Junior & Senior Womens & Mens Artistic Competiton over the weekend of 15th/16th June. With over 800 athletes and their familis attending over the 2 days, you can imagine the amount of bodies we had at any one point in our gym. Teachers Mega Strike Day -May 29th

Do you need childcare for this day? We will be providing a programme for this day. We will have circuits with Trapeze, Gymnastics, Trampoline and Parkour, plus loads of fun with indoor and outdoor games. Due to family committments, our Parkour Coach Kiharoa, has to change the day he runs the class to Tuesdays , it will be held at the same time slot of 5.30-7pm. This is effective from Term 2

Tumble Competition 2nd March

The first Tumle Competition of the season was held at MIGS and our girls did exceedingly well. Clare Robertson-Pene achieved 1st for womens 15-16yrs age group and Senior Short Track 3.
